OnBoard customers are excited these days because most are enjoying the new features and capabilities of version 5. It’s always fun and often thrilling to get a new technology, buy the latest iPhone or install the newest version of Firefox. You get the thrill of a fresh new look, cool new ways of doing daily tasks, and see what great time-savers are available. We’re excited, too, and it’s because the new OnBoard 5 all came from you, the customer.

It's been a big year for OnBoard upgrades: Version 5 was released in 2010 and we have moved forward with Version 5.2 and 5.3 since January. Each upgrade was designed and built to meet specific customer requests. Customers choose AgilQuest for our great technology and then stay with us because we're unique in the market. Our willingness to take customer feedback, suggestions, and business needs to the design team sets us apart from the rest. Our ability to take real world workplace strategy from customers and create the supporting technology within OnBoard is unparalleled. That means customers get real value, precisely aligned with their business goals instead of just one-size-fits-all software.

For example, one customer collaborated with us for over a year, giving us the input necessary to make OnBoard 5.2 a huge success for both companies. After 10 years of using AgilQuest's workplace management solutions, this large consulting firm recognized they could get even more value by asking to be more connected to AgilQuest with managed services and product enhancements. The stronger relationship with AgilQuest staff now proactively supports their work environment and enhances the benefits they receive from the system. Customers learn it's not just the OnBoard technology that brings them value; it's the AgilQuest expertise and customer involvement that makes a big difference to how workers work and how companies manage costs.

While the enhancements this consulting firm enjoys include an easier to use screen and the eight new ways to interface with the software, the new version and stronger relationship deliver even more:

• a streamlined reservation process
• alignment with their internal processes
• and better management of all spaces including permanent, hoteling and conference rooms

One of their most important enhancements was more efficiency in conference room and resource scheduling and management. This makes booking conference rooms and managing resources like catering and equipment easier and faster; that means you're more productive. All-in-all, the new OnBoard release makes life easier by keeping the workforce productive and the workplace flexible.

In April, after 9 months, countless design meetings and months of building, the customer rolled out OnBoard 5.2 to over 30,000 users at about 60 facilities with great success. The implementation project successfully rolled out the OnBoard workplace management system to not just 30,000 users, but did so over a single weekend! A key player in the success was AgilQuest's own James Logan, an implementation consultant. For the year he was on this project, James made himself available at all hours of the day and night for any questions, concerns or problems that arose during the implementation process. A senior developer at the customer said:

"It was a pleasure to be able to work with James Logan on the conference and catering 5.2 project. He displayed a great depth of knowledge not only about the software but also great insight when it came to resolving issues. His ability to understand our requests, logically traverse the application critical paths and quickly provide the best options was beyond value.
