In a company where everyone can work virtually or telecommute from anywhere a problem becomes how to track down just where in that anywhere your employees or coworkers are!  Leave it to the geniuses at Google to help you solve this problem with their new Latitude.

Similar to Foursquare, Latitude lets users "check in" at certain locations using their mobile devices.  Frequent check-ins earn a user "regular" "VIP" or "guru" status.  Latitude also allows a user to set up automatic check ins at a certain location.  When the GPS realizes that you're in the building, your mobile device will ask you if you'd like to check in.  Likewise, when you leave the building, your device will recognize this and automatically check out of the location.
