AgilQuest announced today that John Vivadelli, CEO, was recently appointed to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Joint Commission on Science and Technology (JCOTS). Created by the 1997 Virginia General Assembly as a permanent legislative agency, JCOTS is charged to generally study all aspects of technology and science and to stimulate, encourage, promote, and assist in the development of technology and science in Virginia through sound public policies.

Mr. Vivadelli will serve on JCOTS’ Advisory Committee on Infrastructure, which is charged to explore the current technology infrastructure in the Commonwealth, the current and expected demands on that infrastructure, and the means of meeting those demands across the Commonwealth.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve the Commonwealth as a member of the JCOTS` Advisory Committee on Infrastructure," said Mr. Vivadelli. "I look forward to sharing my unique perspective on mobile work practices and technologies and how they can be deployed throughout the Commonwealth."

Mr. Vivadelli’s appointment is for the 2001 interim.
